We created the Symbiant Risk Suite back in 2005 so companies could do enterprise risk management correctly instead of trying to crow bar office tools in to a hole they were never designed for. After years of research we wanted to create a tool that would be flexible enough to give the client a structured framework for them to build-on or fit in with their own methodologies and would adapt to each business model. A tool that would not only look back but allow the users to look forward and plan ahead. A tool that would embed risk management as a core business activity and allow many users from the work place to participate and contribute.

The risk suite is not just a risk manager, it's a total risk management solution that covers all the six areas required for an effective risk program. Identify, Assess, Measure, Treat, Monitor and Communicate.

Being web based it is easily accessible by anyone who needs to use the system and allows cross company participation in departmental or companywide issues. Automated emails keep users up-to-date with new or current tasks or questionnaires they have to do or workshops they need to participate in and the built in action tracker gives ownership of actions which need to be implemented.

Symbiant Tracker was originally designed in 2001 with KPMG's internal audit team to provide a simple and effective tool for their clients and indeed themselves to track Internal Audit issue actions through to completion .

In simple terms Tracker is a web based issue action tracking solution. It allows you to give ownership of actions and track through to completion. Automated email notify and remind users of tasks and events. What is more, when you have to report to the Audit Committee, you can produce up-to-date reports in moments.

Over the years Tracker has been re-written many times to meet our users needs and requirements. With feedback from institutions such as The Bank of England, The American Internal Revenue Services, financial institutions, municipal councils and industry users Tracker has become a market leader and is used not only by Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance departments but also to track health and safety issues, customer complaints and even sales leads.
